Li Guijun was born in Beijing;

Li Guijun graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in oil painting;

he participated in the 7th National Exhibition of Fine Arts held in Shanghai;

Li Guijun participated in 20th Century-China Fine Arts Exhibition held at the National Art Museum of China;

Li Guijun's work was exhibited at the Exhibition of Famous Chinese Oil Painters held in Singapore and at the 2nd Annual Exhibition of Chinese Oil Paintings held at the National Art Museum of China;

Li Guijun took part in the Chinese Vision - Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting Master Works Exhibition held in Bangkok, Thailand, and the Exhibition of "Contemporary Chinese Oil Paintings, From Realism to Post-modernism" held in Brussels, Belgium;
Li Guijun obtained master's degree from the oil painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts;

Li Guijun mounted a solo exhibition called "Open the Door" in Hong Kong, which was followed by his personal album, Open the Door;

Li Guijun participated in the Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition held in Bangkok, Thailand;

Li Guijun participated in the "East Meets West" Exhibition in Berlin, Germany;

Li Guijun once again staged a solo exhibition, his second in Hong Kong; this one called "The Season of Dreams". He published a second personal album of the same name for the occasion;

Li Guijun participated in the Singapore Art Festival of that year. A third personal album was published bearing the name "Li Guijun's Oil Painting Art";

Li Guijun opened another solo exhibition -- "Li Guijun's Works" Exhibition in Hong Kong, China. It led to publication of a personal painting album in English titled Li Gui Jun;
Li participated in the Women's Image Exhibition held in Bangkok, Thailand, as well as an Exhibition of 33 Contemporary Artists held in Beijing;

Li Guijun opened a solo exhibition "Li Guijun" in Bangkok, Thailand;

he was back at the National Art Museum of China as one of the artists featured in the First Exhibition of Beijing Realistic Paintings;

Li Guijun visited the museum once more to join its 2005 Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings and its "Searching for the Source" Art Exhibition;

Li Guijun was back at the National Art Museum of China for a repeat Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings;

was a busy year for Li Guijun. He participated in the International Modern Fine Art Kwangju Art Exhibition held in the Kwangju Museum of Art, South Korea; the exhibition held by the Chinese Institute of Creative Fine Arts affiliated to the Chinese National Academy of Arts in Beijing; the China Realistic Painting Exhibition 2007 held at the Poly Art Museum in Beijing; the China Realistic Painting Exhibition held at Akili Art Museum in Indonesia; and a Beijing exhibition celebrating the establishment of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting which is affiliated to the Chinese National Academy of Arts;

Li Guijun was part of the Asking for Sources -- Oil Painting Research Exhibition held at the National Art Museum of China, the Asking for Sources Painting Exhibition held at the Chang Liu Art Museum in Taipei, and the 2008 Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings held at the National Art Museum of China;

another busy year, Li Guijun participated in the Brilliant China 2009 - Academic Invitation Exhibition of Chinese Oil Painting Masters held in the Times Art Museum in Beijing, the Fifth Anniversary Special Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings held at the National Art Museum of China and Wuhan Art Museum and the Journey - Painting Mood -- Cross-Strait Oil Paintings Exhibition held at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing;
he showed his works at the Sino-Russian Art Exchange Exhibition held at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing, and was one of the artists in the Drift - Famous Realistic Painters Joint Exhibition held at the Can Art Center in Beijing;
Li Guijun published a fifth personal album titled "Chinese Realistic Painting School: Li Guijun";

Li Guijun participated in "Paint from Life, Facing the Original" Exhibition held at the National Art Museum of China and Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing, and also hung his works at the Exhibition of Small-scale Paintings of the Chinese Realistic Painting School held at the Beijing Times Art Museum;
The Asking for Sources -- Joint Exhibition of Artists Specially Invited by Chinese Academy of Oil Painting at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing, mounted that year, also enjoyed his participation;
Li Guijun also participated in the Asking for Sources -- Chinese Oil Painting Invitation Exhibition held at the Ordos International Conference Exhibition Center and Baotou Art Museum, again in 2010;

Li Guijun participated in the Exhibition of Small-scale Paintings of the Chinese Realistic Painting School held at the Shandong Art Museum, Xi'an Art Museum and Ningbo Museum of Art, and a Li Guijun Works Exhibition was held at the Can Art Center in Beijing;
Li Guijun published another personal work collection in 2011, titled Li Guijun;
Li Guijun also participated in the Seventh Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings held at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing;

found Li Guijun in London, where he displayed works at the London 2012 -- China Art Exhibition held at the Royal College of Art in London;
Back in China, he participated in the "The Style of a Master" Painting Exhibition held at the Tianjin Western Art Museum and in a joint art exhibition of Long Liyou, Xin Dongwang, and Li Guijun held in Beijing;
Li Guijun's work was also featured at the 2012 Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings held at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing;
Another personal album was published that year: "Famous Chinese Oil Painter Li Guijun";

Li Guijun participated in the Ninth Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings at the National Art Museum of China. He also joined the Light of the spirit - Contemporary Classic Works Exhibition held in Beijing as well as the 2013 Chinese Academy of Oil Painting Exhibition held at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing;
He took part as well in the Classic Realistic Painting Exhibition held at the Phoenix Art Palace Museum in Wuxi, and, changing cities once again, participated in the Asking for Sources -- 2013 Chinese Academy of Oil Painting Exhibition held at the 21 Space Art Museum in Shenzhen;
His next personal album was simply titled Li Guijun;

Li Guijun participated in the 10th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings at the National Art Museum of China;

highlighted Li Guijun's speaking skills - he was invited to attend the Harvard College China Forum as a guest speaker. However, he continued to highlight his painting skills, taking part in the Go Deep into Life, Showcase the Era – the Chinese National Academy of Arts Collection of Sketches & Creative Works held at the National Museum of China;
That same year he also participated in the Chinese National Academy of Arts Collection of Sketches & Creative Works held at the National Art Museum of China, and took part in the 11th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings 2015 held at the Beijing 1 + 1 Art Center;

Li Guijun participated in the Spiritual Maturity -- Chinese Academy of Oil Painting New Spring Painting Exhibition held at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing;
Li Guijun also participated in the 12th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings 2016 at the Beijing 1 + 1 Art Center and the Blooming - Hiart Space Opening Exhibition held at the Long Museum in Shanghai, and appeared in the Inherit & Innovate -- Watercolor Art Research Exhibition of the Central Academy of Fine Arts held at the Guancheng Art Museum in Shenzhen;

Li Guijun did not slow down in 2017. He was one of the artist's welcomed to the China Spirit -- the 4th Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition: True Images -- New Development Research of Contemporary Chinese Realistic Oil Painting held at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing;
He also participated in the 13th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings 2017 at the Guardian Art Center in Beijing and the Special Exhibition for the 10th Opening Anniversary of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting at the Chinese National Academy of Arts held in Beijing;
He then went on to publish a personal album titled "Li Guijun -- Chinese Academy of Oil Painting, Chinese National Academy of Arts";

Li Guijun opened a solo exhibition: Every Thing Has a Spirit - Li Guijun Works Exhibition at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, and took part in the China Spirit -- 4th China Oil Painting Invitation Exhibition at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing. He joined the Detachment -- Invitation Exhibition for Famous Chinese Oil Painters at the Shixiang Space in Beijing and went on to exhibit at the Fine Art Gallery of the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting 2018 Art Exhibition;
He published another personal album titled "Artists Series at Chinese National Academy of Arts: Li Guijun";
He also showed his works at the 14th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings 2018 at the Beijing 1 + 1 Art Center;

Li Guijun opened his solo exhibition: "At the Moment - Li Guijun Solo Exhibition" at the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai, and has participated in the 15th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Realistic Paintings 2019 at the Guardian Art Center in Beijing;
Li Guijun is now a painter at the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting affiliated to the Chinese National Academy of Arts;
